Saori Yoshida beat Seiko Yamamoto at the June match
The first second round of national team trial
matches were held at the women's national
team training camp on June 12 with Saori
Yoshida posting a hard-earned 8-1 win over
world champion Seiko Yamamoto at 55 kg. The
victory put Yoshida another step closer to
a berth on the national team for the Asian
Games in Pusan, South Korea and world championships
in Greece this fall.
Saori Yoshida beat Seiko Yamamoto at
the Japan Queen's Cup and the first round
of national team trial matches. The last
match will be held July 7.
