YUMOTO BROS BAG MEDALS AT BELOGLAZOV INT’L






KALININGRAD, Russia (July 28-29) - Shinichi Yumoto stepped out of the shadow of highly decorated twin brother Kenichi and won the 55 kg category at the Beloglazov international freestyle wrestling competition. Kenichi, meanwhile, earned a bronze medal at 60 kg while national team newcomer Yutaka Suzuki also scored bronze at 84 kg.

Shinichi Yumoto made the trip to Europe with the Japanese national team at 55 kg in place of national champion Tomohiro Matsunaga, who decided to stay in Japan to nurse a knee injury.
